Ward 1 needs an accessible, high-quality hospital. Families without reliable transportation are forced to rely on under-resourced, low-quality facilities, and if I refuse to allow my own family to step foot in the current North Las Vegas downtown hospital, how can I expect anyone else to go there? We need to do better for our people. Every hospital must be safe, clean, and fully equipped to provide the care our community deserves.
Diana is committed to bringing a top performing hospital to Ward 1 by partnering with healthcare providers, city leaders, and community organizations.
She will advocate for state and local resources to ensure the hospital offers emergency care, mental health services, and comprehensive medical support—all in a facility that is clean, modern, and accessible to everyone. By providing healthcare close to home for families who currently travel long distances or rely on underfunded facilities, she will help build a healthier, safer, and more resilient community where residents can thrive.
